House Etiquette

To make your Concert Hall experience a positive one, we have established House Etiquette. Your courtesy and cooperation with the following items helps to ensure comfort and enjoyment for all of our patrons and visitors.

Door Opening:
Our front doors open one hour prior to curtain time. Theatre seating is generally available one half hour prior to show time, or at the discretion of the House Manager.

Latecomers:
For minimum disruption, late arrivals will be held in the lobbies until an appropriate break in the program (as determined by the show's management or producers). To allow late-comers the opportunity to follow the program, closed-circuit colour monitors are positioned for viewing on the two main orchestra levels.

In consideration for others.:
To allow both you and the people around you to enjoy the show, please avoid talking and unwrapping cellophane-wrapped candies during the performance.

If visitors applied perfume or cologne with a lighter hand when visiting the Concert Hall, our patrons with allergies to perfumed fragrances would be very grateful.

Cameras & Recording Devices:
Cameras, video cameras and audio recording devices are not permitted inside the theatre. If permission is granted by the promoter of the performance, cameras may be permitted during some performances.

Babies and Small Children:
Regardless of age, every patron requires an admission ticket. To ensure maximum enjoyment for all, we recommend that children be of age to sit quietly throughout a performance. Babes-in-arms may be permitted at family or children's programs.

Smoking:
The Centennial Concert Hall is a smoke-free facility.

Cells Phones, Beepers and other electronic devices:
Please be courteous and silence your pagers, beepers, portable phones and watch alarms before the performance begins.

First Aid Services

A certified first aid provider is present at all performances. If you require medical assistance, please contact an usher. To spot an usher, look for black nametags with the usher's name and the Manitoba Centennial Centre Corporation logo.
