Concessions Go Cashless Jan 1, 2024

Published Date: 04/12/2023

We’re making your visit to Centennial Concert Hall more enjoyable with a cashless experience at our bars and concessions. That means you can make purchases throughout the venue using debit, credit, Apple Pay, and Android Pay. Starting January 1, 2024, we will no long accept cash at the bars and concessions.

To ensure speed of service, the Manitoba Centennial Centre Corporation has invested in Square Point of Sale terminals at every bar and concession within the venue. Eliminating cash reduces touch points for our staff, this change will lower average transaction times for each patron.

Patrons who have cash and wish to use it will be able to purchase a square gift card at the Guest Services office. The gift cards will be accepted at the bars and concessions, these gift cards are unique to Centennial Concert Hall, once loaded they can only be used here.

Accepted Square Payment Methods

Square works with any Canadian-issued and most non-Canadian issued credit cards with a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover or UnionPay International logo, as well as Interac Debit cards. Apple pay and Android pay are accepted as well.
